It was another record-setting weekend for Big Red track and field as several new records were set at the Boston University Valentine Invitational.
The excitement started on Friday afternoon as
Jaylen Bennett etched himself yet another new school record in the 400m. Competing against a full slate of collegiate runners, Bennett ran to a first-place finish with a time of 47.64. The senior also put forth a strong effort in the 200m, crossing at 21.70.
Lucian Gleiser broke the school record in the 1,000m for the second time this month when he crossed the line at 2:25.92, the sixth fastest time in the country this season.
Zylen Campbell set a personal record in the 400m with a time of 49.64.
