Equipment Room

The Exeter Equipment Room is located on the first floor of Love Gym, next to the Athletic Training Center and across from the gymnasium. Uniforms, safety equipment and other apparel is stored and prepared for the 60+ interscholastic teams, club programs, and physical education courses that the institution offers. Since 2024, Exeter Athletics has been in partnership with New Balance, outfitting each team in the latest apparel and safety technology.

ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT ROOM POLICIES & PROTOCOLS
  • Athletic uniforms, equipment and gym issued clothing (gray shirt, gray shorts and towel) are handout through the Athletic Equipment Room and are property of the Athletic Department.
    • To check out gym issued clothing and other items you must have your ID card,
    • Gym issued clothing can be exchanged once per day only (excluding towels) and are to be kept in your locker. It should not be kept in dorm rooms or at home. Items shall be returned right-side-out when bringing it in for the exchange.
    • Gym issued items (balls, rackets, sticks etc.) can be checked out for the day in exchange for your ID card
  • Team uniforms and warm-ups are to be worn for athletic contests only.
  • All uniforms must be returned to the equipment room laundry chute immediately following each competition. Dirty uniforms are not to be kept in lockers, dorm rooms or at home.
  • Uniforms and equipment must not be altered in any way without approval from the equipment managers.
  • The uniform and equipment that is issued to you will be registered with a specific identification number. You are responsible for the exact pieces of uniform and equipment that you are issued. Do not switch equipment or uniforms. Any changes must be made through the equipment managers. At the end of each season each athlete is responsible for turning in their own equipment and having it checked in by the equipment managers. You must return equipment that was signed out to you, specifically. You will not get credit for handing in someone else's uniform for equipment. Team uniforms and equipment are due immediately after your season ends.
  • Report any damage to uniforms or equipment to the Equipment Managers as soon as possible. THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT FOR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT.
  • At the end of the school year all gym lockers are to be emptied by students and all gym-issued items must be returned to the equipment room and checked in by the equipment managers. Please do not leave your gym issued items by the window or in the hall. The laundry chute is open every day if the window is not open. 
  • At the end of each season, the equipment room staff check in all equipment. If there is equipment missing, purposely damaged or altered, items not properly checked in by the equipment managers, or items left in a locker, you will be charged for replacements.
