Indoor track cruises to new school records at Terrier Classic

eExeter track and field shined bright, once again established new schools marks, at the Boston University Terrier Classic this past weekend. 

Gianna Phipps and Jannah Maguire set the stage during the women's competition on Friday afternoon. Phipps set a pair of school records as she ran a 7.87 in the 60m before turning in a 25.39 in the 200m. Maguire was on her heels and came in with a personal-best time of 25.56. 

More records fell during Saturday's men's portion of the meet. Jaylen Bennett reset his own school record in the 200m with a time of 21.61 while Lucian Gleiser set a new program record in the 1,000m when he crossed at 2:29.43. Zylen Campbell rounded out an extraordinary weekend as he finished the 400m with a personal-record and national-qualifying time of 49.70. 

Big Red will return to their home track on Wednesday, February 5 at 3:30p.
