Three interceptions returned for touchdowns from the defense powered Exeter varsity football to a 49-10 victory over Deerfield inside Phelps Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The win propels Big Red to a perfect 5-0 on the season while outscoring their opponents by a 209-72 margin.
Tav Fenderson,
Myles Craddock, and
Levy Kinlock each nabbed an interception and returned it into the end zone for scores as the defense accounted for 21 points on the day. Big Red also received some scoring input from the special teams unit as
Luke Rogers returned a punt into the end zone for the hosts.
The offense was not to be left behind as Craddock and JJ Bright were fantastic out of the backfield running behind a terrific performance from the Big Red offensive line.
Big Red will be back in action next Saturday when they travel to the Brunswick School for a 2:00pm tilt.
