Exeter baseball put together a strong, complete performance to earn a 12–5 win over Bridgton Academy on Wednesday afternoon.
With the game tightly contested early and Big Red holding a 2–1 edge, Exeter created separation by scoring five runs in each of the fifth and sixth to shift the momentum and take control.
Josh Rohloff set the tone on the mound, working 5.1 innings while striking out ten and allowing just four hits and three runs to earn the win while
Sid Dunn closed out the final 1.2 innings in relief.
Offensively, Exeter saw production throughout the lineup.
Logan McIntyre helped pave the way, going 3-for-3 with two RBI while
Thad McConnell finished 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, and four RBI to pace the attack.
Jake Attaway added a pair of hits and crossed the plate twice, while Davis Deluties contributed a double, two runs scored, and two RBI in a 1-for-3 effort.
Exeter returns to action on Saturday when they host Deerfield for a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m.
