Exeter boys squash continued its strong run with a 5–2 home victory over Dexter Southfield School on Wednesday afternoon. Big Red, winners of four of their last five matches, improves to 9–3 overall on the season.
At No. 3,
Matias Yau battled through a grueling five-game match, earning an 11-3, 15-17, 12-14, 11-3, 11-8 victory in one of the afternoon's most competitive contests. Maverick Hilal was dominant at No. 4, cruising to an 11-3, 11-3, 11-4 straight-game win.
Tony Zhu delivered a steady performance at No. 5 (11-9, 11-8, 11-5), while
AJ Jay controlled play at No. 6 with an 11-4, 11-4, 11-5 victory.
Ryan Wang rounded out the scoring at No. 7, winning 11-4, 12-10, 11-7 to seal the fifth point for Big Red.
Exeter will close out their regular season on Wednesday, February 18
th at home against Middlesex at 3:15pm.
