Tony Zhu delivered the lone win against Deerfield, battling his way to a hard-fought 3–1 victory at the No. 7 position. Zhu carried that momentum into the second match of the day, cruising to a 3–0 win against Belmont Hill.
The showdown with Belmont Hill came down to the wire, highlighted by several key performances. Maverick Hilal earned a 3–1 win at No. 4 (11–8, 11–9, 9–11, 11–6), while
Andrew Chen was dominant at No. 6, posting a 3–0 victory (11–3, 11–2, 11–0).
Ryan Wang sealed the team win for Big Red with a thrilling five-game battle at No. 5. After falling behind 2–1, Wang responded with back-to-back set wins to claim a 3–2 victory (6–11, 13–11, 9–11, 11–9, 11–6), clinching the match for Exeter.
