Big Red softball returned to the diamond and earned a 10-2 victory over Milton Academy on Monday evening. Regan Coco silenced the Mustang offense, going the distance while allowing just one earned run while striking out five.

Coco gave herself some run support as she knocked a two-run single as part of a three-run first inning as Big Red jumped out to a 3-0 lead. Exeter added another run in the second as Ella Shea brought home Phoebe Elting with a double to center. Big Red would add two more in the fourth, including a solo home run from Paige Sweet, before extending their lead to 10-0 with a four-run fifth.

Coco finished her day at the plate going 2-for-4 with five RBI while Shea went 1-for-1 with three walks, two runs score, and an RBI. Chiara Kimmel added a pair of hits and a run scored while Paris Tran and Sweet each scored a pair of runs.

Exeter will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to St. Paul's for a 3:00pm start.
