Exeter boys varsity basketball improved to a perfect 15-0 following a thrilling 66-65 victory over St. Paul's School inside Love Gym on Wednesday.
Trailing by one in the waning moments of the game, senior
Ryder Frost drove into the paint and connected for a jump-hook with just ten seconds remaining to give the hosts a one-point lead. Big Red played strong defense and forced a tough shot that did not connect to hold on to the win.
Frost was the cog in the offense for Exeter, finishing with 25 points to go with six rebounds and three assists. Rob Blandburg added 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting while adding eight rebounds and a pair of blocks.
Cade Furse and
Luke Soden finished with eight points apiece.
Exeter will hit the road on Saturday when they travel for a tilt with Tabor Academy at 1:00p.
