Boys basketball tops Belmont Hill to earn fourth straight win

Phillips Exeter Academy boys basketball continued its strong run on the road Wednesday afternoon, rolling past Belmont Hill, 74–53, to secure its fourth straight victory.

Big Red trailed early on, 13-7, before battling back and staking a 37-32 edge at the break. The second half was all Big Red, opening with a 9-3 run before outscoring Belmont Hill 37-21 over the final 16 minutes. Christian Chartier led the way with a game-high 21 points, while Cole McClure added 14. Jayden Duverne chipped in 12 points and Alex Hamblet finished with 10.

Big Red knocked down nine three-pointers on the day and saw nine different players find the scoring column.

Exeter will look to keep things rolling when it returns home on Saturday afternoon to host Loomis Chaffee. Tip-off is set for 3:30 p.m.
