Boys basketball tops Avon at Scholar Roundball Classic

Boys varsity basketball improved to a perfect 5-0 with a convincing 80-55 victory over Avon Old Farms at Holy Cross in the Scholar Roundball Classic on Saturday. 
 
Senior Ryder Frost led the way with 25 points and was one of five in double figures alongside Tyler Bike (15 points), Rob Blandburg (15 points), Luke Soden (11 points), and Cade Furse (10 points) for the Big Red. 
 
The team's next game is Wednesday away at Class A rival Milton Academy at 4:15pm.
