Boys varsity basketball came away with a hard fought 73-64 win over a tough Dexter Southfield group in their regular season home opener on Wednesday night at Love Gym.

It was a team effort for the Big Red, who were led by
Tyler Bike and
Cade Furse in the victory.
Ryder Frost,
Luke Soden, and Rob Blandburg all added double figures, as well.

Big Red is in action again this weekend as they play back-to-back on Friday and Saturday down at Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts as part of the Scholar Roundball Classic. Friday's game is against St. Sebastian's at 6:30, while Saturday they play at 5:15 against Avon Old Farms.
