Exeter golf delivered a strong all-around showing on Saturday, with both Varsity A and Varsity B earning hard-fought victories on Saturday afternoon.
Varsity A traveled to Lake Sunapee Country Club and came away with a 6.5–4.5 win over Proctor. In a tightly contested match, Big Red showcased impressive balance throughout the lineup.
Ananya Ray led the way with a team-low round of 38, while
Marvin Shim followed closely with a 39.
Oliver Sides,
Brendan McCarthy, and
William Yoon each carded rounds of 40 while
Eric Bagg (42) and
Joe Sasso (44) rounded out the scoring effort.
Varsity B matched that success with a 6.5–5.5 win over New Hampton at Breakfast Hill Golf Course. The group was led by a standout round of 37 from
Chelsea Kim, while
Sophia Xue added a 39 in a strong performance.
Alicia Medina contributed a 41, with
Evelynn Johnston (44) and
Emily Kim (45) providing key scores to help push Big Red past New Hampton in another closely contested match.
Big Red will be back in action on Wednesday as Varsity A travels to Tilton while the JV squad will host Tilton. The girls side will play host to Newton Country Day School.
