Exeter Wrestling spent Valentine's Day at the New England Preparatory School Wrestling Association (NEPSWA) Championships, at Greens Farms Academy in Connecticut.
Contending against an elite field of New England's finest wrestlers, Big Red came away with three placewinners. On the boys' side,
Konrad Kutt (215) placed fifth, while on the girls' side,
Ting-Ting Hsieh (107) and
Michelle Choo (126) both placed fourth. Also winning at least one match in the tournament were
Michael Kosov,
Farzad Royesh,
Nathi Lomax,
Logan Beckerle,
Luca Somma,
Zain Reza,
Joe Kim, and
Carmella Schoner.
As a team, Exeter placed thirteenth on the boys' side and fifth on the girls' side. Next up is the National Prep tournament at Lehigh University!
