Boys hockey tops Choate for third straight win

Exeter boys hockey completed a perfect weekend with a convincing 4–1 victory at Choate on Saturday evening, earning their third straight win after Friday night's 4–0 shutout of Albany Academy and Wednesday's 5-2 win at Proctor.

For the second consecutive game, Big Red showcased a balanced offensive attack as four different players found the back of the net. Holden Chang, Jack Tucker, Thomas Wilson, and Eric Bagg each scored in the victory over the Wild Boars. Bagg, who also tallied on Friday night, stayed hot and helped pace an attack that consistently pressured the Choate defense.

Brendan Petraco anchored the effort between the pipes. The netminder turned aside 27 of 29 shots and came up with several key saves to preserve Exeter's momentum and keep the hosts from closing the gap.

Big Red will return to home ice on Monday afternoon when they host Berwick Academy at 5:00 p.m.
