Balanced attack leads girls lacrosse past Milton

Girls varsity lacrosse used an explosive second quarter to pull away and earn a 16-7 victory on the road at Milton Academy on Wednesday afternoon.

Leading 5-4 at the end of the first quarter, Big Red utilized a balanced attack to score seven unanswered goals to build a 12-4 lead. Exeter senior Hannah Hoyt was pivotal in the draw circle to keep Big Red with possession throughout the game.

Hoyt, Grace Benson, and Keighley Bosshardt each found the back of the net four times to lead the Exeter offense on the day. Lily Lombardi and Emma van Oss each scored a pair in the win.

Exeter returns home and will battle Andover in their annual season finale on Friday at 5:30pm.
