Boys tennis outlasts St. Paul's

Exeter boys tennis earned a 7-2 win over a strong St. Paul's this afternoon on the Big Red campus.

Big Red captured two wins in the doubles section of the match as David Dai and Leo Zhang got the day started with an 8-4 win in the second doubles slot while Hugo Shinn and Nathan Liu also used a score of 8-4 to earn Big Red a second point.

Art Chinsupakul earned a hard-fought victory in the top singles slot with a 7-6, 6-2 win while Dai won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2 in the second slot. Luke Sanders used set scores of 6-4, 6-3 to win in No. 4 singles while Nathan Liu outlasted his opponent 6-1, 6-7, 15-13 to earn the victory in the fifth singles match. After dropping the opening set 3-6, Neal Veerannna rallied back and won the final two sets 6-3, 10-4 to wrap up the day for Exeter.

The Big Red varsity B team also earned a 5-4 victory on the day. Exeter is back in action when they play host to Choate at 11:00am on Saturday.
