Four wrestlers qualify for Prep Nationals as Big Red hosts NEPSWA Championships

Phillips Exeter Academy welcomed 55 schools and over 300 wrestlers to the Thompson Field House as Big Red played host to the 2025 New England Preparatory School Wrestling Association (NEPSWA) Championships. Big Red saw some terrific matches throughout the two-day event that featured the top wrestlers in the region.

In the prep division, Konrad Kutt placed 7th at 157. In the girls' division, Ting-Ting Hsieh placed 3rd at 107, Bella Bueno placed 2nd at 165, and Avni Murarka placed 4th at 235. Kutt and Bueno both avenged a regular-season loss en route to their place-winning finishes. Kutt, Hsieh, Bueno, and Murarka will continue on to the National Prep tournament at Lehigh University next weekend. Also competing well for the Big Red were Jack Breaks, Becket Moore, Ariel Duan, Catherine Chen, and Michelle Choo. As a team, PEA finished tied for 23rd place in the prep division and tied for 7th in the girls' division.
