Boys water polo notches fourth straight win

Exeter boys water polo enjoyed a solid weekend, picking up a pair of victories to improve to 10-3 overall on the season.

Big Red played host to Greenwich Country Day School on Friday night where they defeated the Gators 14-11. A quick turnaround saw Exeter travel to Deerfield Academy on Saturday where they scored a 15-11 victory over the Big Green. Andrew Gao powered the offense in the pair of wins, scoring seven goals against GCDS before potting six at Deerfield.

Exeter, winners of four straight, has had the offense firing on all cylinders, scoring double-digit goals in 11 of 13 matches on the season. Next up, Big Red will travel to Windsor, Connecticut next Saturday for a tri-match with Loomis Chaffee and Hamden Hall.

On the JV side, Big Red scored a thrilling 8-7 win over Deerfield on Saturday. Liam Canty, Leon Yang, and David Meng led the way for Big Red as they captured their second straight victory.
