Early offense carries girls soccer to win over NMH

Exeter girls soccer played a strong and complete match on Family Weekend, earning a 3-0 victory over Northfield Mount Hermon. Big Red seized control of possession from the opening kickoff and never let off the gas throughout the match.

Ella Shea opened the scoring with a beautiful left-footed strike to the top right corner in the opening minutes of the first half, setting the tone for Big Red early. Exeter doubled their lead in the opening forty minutes when Scarlett Ring delivered a perfectly placed cross from the right side that Elena Calvo finished with a smooth one-touch goal to make it 2-0.

In the final fifteen minutes, Annabel Jordan set up Calvo once again, and the striker calmly buried her second goal of the day to seal the win.

Big Red will return to action on Wednesday, October 15th when they play host to Kimball Union Academy at 3:00pm.
