Exeter boys volleyball is headed back to the New England Prep School Boys Volleyball Championship match after a commanding 3-0 semifinal victory over Choate Rosemary Hall on Wednesday afternoon. Big Red controlled the match from the outset, earning straight-set wins by scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-8 to complete a 3-0 season sweep of the Wild Boars.
Adrian Cass orchestrated a balanced and efficient offensive attack throughout the afternoon, helping power a strong hitting performance from
Owen Lee,
Robin Dao, and
Oluj Okeremi. Exeter's defensive effort proved just as impressive, with
Teddy Hosmer and
Simon Taylor leading the way and limiting Choate's opportunities to generate momentum.
With the victory, Big Red advances to Saturday's New England Championship match where it will once again renew its rivalry with Andover in a familiar postseason showdown. The matchup marks the fifth consecutive season Exeter and Andover have met in the finals, continuing one of the premier rivalries in prep school athletics.
Exeter will look to avenge a pair of regular-season losses to the top-seeded Blue while chasing the program's seventh New England title. Big Red last captured the championship in 2024 with a 3-0 sweep over Andover, and Saturday's noon showdown sets the stage for another memorable chapter in the rivalry.
