Boys volleyball advances to finals with win over Choate

Top-seeded boys volleyball advanced to the New England boys volleyball championship match following a 3-0 victory over Choate in Wednesday's semifinal on Wednesday afternoon. Big Red used set scored of 25-18, 25-22, and 25-17 to top the Wild Boars.

Big Red will move on and look to make it two straight New England titles as they host Andover on Saturday afternoon. The Blue downed Northfield Mount Hermon in their semifinal matchup, 3-1, to advance to the finals.

Exeter was in control from the jump on their way to the sweep. Bodie Woods led the offense with 14 kills on the day while Deva Wheeler finished with eight on 12 attempts. Tristan Zhang added seven kills and nine digs. Alex Johnson and Adrian Cass split duties in setting up the offense with 17 and 14 assists, respectively.
