Exeter girls basketball continued its strong run on Saturday, earning a 54–45 victory over Buckingham, Browne & Nichols to secure its third straight win of the season.
Big Red faced an early challenge, trailing 23–20 at halftime, but responded with an impressive second-half surge. Exeter tightened up defensively and found its rhythm on offense, outscoring the Knights 34–22 over the final two quarters to pull away down the stretch.
Daniella Kalil led all scorers with a game-high 16 points, knocking down four three-pointers to spark the Exeter offense.
Allannah Orsby provided a key lift after the break, scoring nine of her 11 points in the second half as Big Red seized control.
Sydney Pettis added 11 points, while
Caroline Chadwick chipped in eight in a balanced team effort.
Big Red will look to keep the momentum rolling on the road, traveling to face Cushing Academy on Wednesday, January 14, with tip-off set for 3:30pm.
