Exeter wrestling traveled up to the Hyde School for the annual Northern New England Invitational on Saturday for a day filled with strong competition.
Konrad Kutt led the charge for Big Red with an individual title at 157.
Jack Breaks (144),
Becket Moore (150), and
Zain Reza (157) each took earned a second place finish in their respective divisions.
Rounding out Exeter's placewinners were
Ting-Ting Hsieh (106-4th), Alex Lou (132-4th),
Avni Murarka (215-5th),
Michelle Choo (132-6th), and
Dushant Lohano (285-6th).
Avni Murarka's fifth-place match was particularly exciting because she avenged a loss to an opponent who beat her earlier in the tournament—a true mark of "finishing strong." As a team, Big Red finished in fifth place. Next up is the Class A Tournament at NMH on Saturday, February 8th.
