Exeter girls basketball earned a hard-fought 63–57 victory over Wheeler on Sunday at the New England Recruiting Report Girls Hoops Series at Milton Academy—securing both the team's first win of the season and the first victory under head coach Kerry McBrearty.

Big Red's offense was powered by a breakout performance from Caroline Chadwick, who caught fire from beyond the arc, draining seven threes on her way to a game-high 21 points. Daniella Kalil delivered a strong all-around effort with 16 points, consistently creating scoring opportunities and keeping Exeter in control.

Allanah Orsby added 10 points, providing timely buckets and reliable defense, while Fiyin Filani supplied 8 points – all in the second half – to help Big Red maintain its lead down the stretch.

It was a complete team effort for Exeter who will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Kimball Union Academy for a 4:00pm tip.
