Stephan Lewis was introduced as the Associate Athletic Director for Scheduling and Internal Programming in 2025. In his role, Lewis arranges all scheduling and logistics for Big Red teams in addition to leading internal programming for the department.Â
Prior to joining the Athletic Department, Lewis served as a physical education instructor and athletic director at the Cooperative Middle School in Stratham, New Hampshire since 2009.
Lewis was no stranger to campus as he joined the Big Red coaching ranks in 2021 with both the football and track and field programs. An accomplished athlete, Lewis played football at the University of New Hampshire where he was a three-time all-conference player, All-American, and two-time Walter Payton Award finalist, awarded annually to the top player in all of Division 1 FCS football. In his 2002 All-American season, Lewis led the nation in all-purpose yards. After his collegiate career, he went on to play professionally in the NFL, CFL, and AFL. In 2015, Lewis coached for his hometown Philadelphia Eagles. An inductee into both the Coatesville and University of New Hampshire halls of fame, Coach Lewis has been active in coaching football, basketball, baseball, and track in the seacoast region of New Hampshire since his retirement from football.
