David Huoppi has been the assistant varsity coach since joining the Exeter community in 2014. Huoppi enjoyed a successful playing collegiate career at Trinity College before joining the coaching ranks where he has had stops at The Salisbury School, Belmont Hill, and Northfield Mount Hermon. During this time, he also continued playing lacrosse competitively on the international level. Huoppi represented Finland from 2005-2012 where in played in the World Championships (2006 & 2010) and the European Championships (2008 & 2012), in addition to various other tournaments. Huoppi served as a team captain for five years up until his retirement from international competition.Â
