Andrea Sweet

Andrea Sweet returned to the Exeter community in the fall of 2025. She currently serves as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach overseeing program development for Exeter’s athletic teams. Sweet previously worked at Exeter for ten years from 2008-2018.

Prior to returning to Exeter, Sweet worked at the Holderness School for four years as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and assisted with the Outdoor Education program. Sweet has worked in many strength and conditioning settings including stops with the Phoenix Mercury (WNBA), Northern Arizona University, and Florida Atlantic University. She has also worked at multiple private training facilities including Mike Boyle’s Strength and Conditioning and Velocity Sports Performance.

A New Hampshire native, Sweet earned her B.S. from Springfield College, where she was member of the women’s basketball team. She earned her master’s degree from Southern Oregon University in Outdoor Adventure and Expedition Leadership. She holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has her Wilderness First Aid certification.

When not working, Sweet enjoys being outside trail running, hiking, rock climbing, and skiing. She currently lives off campus with her partner and their cat, Koda.
