The Exeter community came together this week for an evening recognizing members of the Class of 2026 who have committed to continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Surrounded by family, friends, teammates, and coaches, these students were celebrated for reaching an important milestone in their academic and athletic journeys. They will carry Exeter's tradition of excellence to college campuses across the country, competing at some of the nation's premier programs.
The event highlighted not only individual achievement, but also the collective support that defines the Exeter experience. From classmates cheering on their peers to coaches reflecting on years of development, the evening served as a reminder of the dedication, resilience, and balance required to succeed both in the classroom and in competition.
"Nights like this are about more than commitments—they're about community," said Director of Athletics
Jason Baseden. "These students have invested countless hours in their sports while fully engaging in life at Exeter, and they've been supported every step of the way by families, coaches, college counselors, and teammates. It's incredibly rewarding to see them reach this point and to celebrate what comes next."
Exeter will host a second recognition event in May to honor additional members of the Class of 2026 who will also move on to compete at the collegiate level. Below is the list of students recognized at this week's celebration.
