Gray's late heroics lifts girls hockey over Tilton

In the dwindling minutes of a tied game, Exeter's Maria Gray slid the puck past a sprawling Tilton goaltender to give Big Red a 2-1 and ultimately a victory.

The goal was Gray's second of the game after Exeter was faced with an early 1-0 deficit. Gray has been on a hot streak and has now notched goals in each of the last five games. Paisley Meyer was credited with a pair of assists while Erin Sears and Grace Riley each earned one assist.

Senior Allie Bell picked up the win in net for Big Red who will continue their week with a pair of games. Exeter will travel to Rivers School on Friday at 6:15p before welcoming Loomis Chaffee School to campus on Saturday at 3:00p.
