After a terrific fall season, the Exeter Athletics Department is pleased to announce individual team award winners, conference honorees, and New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) award recipients for their impact and positive contributions during the 2024 season.
The fall season was filled with success and featured plenty of postseason action for Big Red. The boys cross country team continued their dominance and captured their fifth straight New England title while placing tenth overall at the Northeast Nike Cross Regionals, where they competed against 35 of the top programs from New England, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The girls cross country team also had a lot to celebrate as they placed third overall at the New England Championships and 22
nd overall at NXR.
The
Exeter football squad finished the year with a record of 8-1 while outscoring their opponents by a 315-162 margin on the year. Big Red earned an appearance in a
NEPSAC Bowl Game for the second straight year and were crowned Drew
Gamere Bowl Champions with a victory over Avon Old Farms. Senior Isaiah Reese '25 was named Northeast Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year after a superb season on the gridiron.
Exeter girls volleyball put together an incredible 15-1 season and finished second overall in Class A. Exeter did not drop a set all season until falling in the title match to the King School.
Big Red boys water polo also advance to the championship match and finished second overall in New England with an overall record of 16-3.
